Anyone doing /already done a polar plunge for new year's?

I used to do this when living in Germany. Run naked and plunge yourself in the river on new year's just for the fun of it. Anyone else have this tradition? I know there are formal events in bigger cities, people run and jump into a lake or other body of water on Christmas or New Year's.
