Travel / backpacking and naturism
Well the title says it all really. Given more and more young people
are starting to get involved with naturism I'm interested to know
if there's many travellers on this site that have combined some
elements of naturism into their journey. A little about me - I'm
originally from the UK but currently living in India . . . Not the
easiest place to go about some beach skinny dipping or sunbathing
but there's some amazing places that can allow for the most
memorable of skinny dips. Very interested to hear from other
travellers and their stories and ideas - and also travel
recommendations! It's always good to connect with likeminded people
and I feel that there's some on here somewhere!! Have a good night
and best wishes from Goa :) (Disclaimer I only have an iPhone on my
travels so can't format things properly on this site. I'd really
love to give you paragraphs but my phone has other ideas)
I know some couples that go naked on textile beaches. They take a float (tupperware or anything) and tie a 10 ft small rope to it and a "U" shaped piece of rerod. The rerod is pushed into the sandy bottom, and use a u-shape so you dont hurt your foot. They get out into water about shoulder deep, take off their clothes and tie them to the rope underwater. They find an area where there are no other people for 30 feet or so. They have stayed naked for over an hour at a local lake beach.

I'm thinking more the backpacking kind of stories. Longer term
travellers experiencing different cultures and approaches and on a
side note how naturism was integrated into that. Travelling is an
environment where you tend to be surrounded by free thinking, in
fact free people generally who are more open to ideas, especially
something as common sense as nudity so it's interesting to find how
other backpackers managed it or if they did. Fof me It's nice
living in a country with forests such as India just for the chance
to spend time in a forest stream under a banyon tree naked and
feeling the spirit of the forest, that's when you start to
understand the root of naturism and many other roots besides. The
weather helps too! Some integration with friends is now happening
and I'm becoming a lot more open to discussing it with others -
living with three others in a house in the jungles of Goa at the
moment - a forest trip tomorrow will hopefully allow for some
waterfall skinny dipping with them :)
We travel a lot in Vietnam but on our latest trip this year, we found our favourite unofficial clothes
free sites have been overrun by new developments and its hard to
find any good close but secluded beach areas we can enjoy some outdoor
nude time.
