A Bay Noosa

Taking some time off work towards the end of this month.
Thought about going A Bay.
Haven't been for years, but I heard it's not as good as it was.
Is it worth going or go somewhere else?

Still a good beach which is still has verywide sand. I am going next week.

Last time I was there the police were there on quad bikes telling everyone to get dressed.I don't think I'll be going back there.

We have stopped visiting Noosa area now after hearing reports about police there. I'd suggest trying the nudist beaches around Byron Bay where we are welcome. Also try Nudist Compass app on your phone.

I read with concern your message about the police at A-Bay. How long ago did this happen? Was it only on one occasion or were there more and how many police? I love Noosa but I won't be going back if this kind of harassment continues. I'll spend my tourist $$s somewhere else!

I went to Abay three times about two weeks ago . No police. The 'problem' was some short time ago, I believe an over zealous young police officer, who has been moved on. One guy was charged and he appealed and lost. He was charged I believe with lewd behaviour, yet there were some 14 other nudists on the beach who were not approached by the police. It would seem that nudism is not a problem. Its is the in appropriate activities which is the issue. Can someone confirm my understanding of the matter at Abay.
