First visit?
Hello.I am thinking of taking my first naked vacation soon, and i am curious about vera playa. And i got some questions i hope you can answer.
When is the best time to visit? I am from Norway, so high season/mid summer will probably be to hot for me XD.How big is the nudist zone? Are there many activities to do naked?Is it the best place for a first nude vacation?And my travelling partner is not a nudist, so is it clothing optional or do you have to be nude?

Knowing your from Northern Europe Id guess September/October would be best.
Its a town area about 3 sq km and a beach approx the same size. Theres a lot to see, do and enjoy :)
I have been there in December and June. Daytime temperatures were
warm enough to be naked most days in December but many of the
facilities were closed. In June it was warm enough daytime and
evening, with a bit of shade being useful during the day. In the
afternoons a sea breeze cooled the beach. I'm from the UK. So for
you May, June, September and October would be good.
Most of the
accommodation is in apartments in gated complexes with pools and
other facilities. I rented one such apartment. It gave me the
flexibility to do as I wished. The map in the website shown above
gives the extent of the area. It is extensive (the green parts of
the map). I could wander about it naked day and night, eating,
drinking and enjoying the beach equally naked. Indeed in June we
spent a true 24/7 naked week, undressing when leaving Alicante
airport and staying naked continually through to the return to the
airport at the end of the week. I enjoyed three quite different
nude massages on the beach that week. Most of those on the beach
are naked but there is no objection to someone covering up -
typically a textile wife accompanying a nudist husband. But she
couldweaken to the charms of nudism, who knows? The
nudebeach is long with soft sand leading down into the
Mediterranean. There are (I think) three beach bars with
accompanying sun loungers for hire nearby. They serve food. There
are also some cafes within the estate. Our favorite had a terrace
overlooking one of the streets in which good food could be
enjoyed naked or clothed.
The hotel (The Vera Playa Club) is at one end. It puts on entertainment for guests but requires them to be dressed for breakfast and after 8pm. There are many bars, clubs, cafes on the street leading to the hotel. They often require customers to be clothed. That was ok on a December evening when it would be too chilly to stay naked. But I avoided them in June, preferring to be naked
