RE: $75 Million for a nude video?

Seems to me that both Andrews and the hotel got screwed while the stalker, the lawyers, and the IRS came out smelling like a rose. Granted the hotel was guilty of negligence, so they deserved to be whacked. But their share of the $55 million ($26 million) seems a bit excessive to me since they were duped into this. The criminal, who was totally responsible for his own actions, won't be paying out a dime for his role. My understanding is that he was sentenced to 30 months in prison, which is not enough imho, and I don't know if he has, or ever will, serve any of that. So Andrews gets to claim that she won a court case, the criminal gets off with something to brag about, the lawyers and IRS walk away with a huge payday, and the hotel fires a clerk or two and pays for it all.
I'm glad Andrews won the case and I wish more celebrities would fight for their rights. But until our system of justice starts dealing out equitable punishments for the truly guilty, I can see why our rights to privacy are slowly but surely going the way of the Dodo bird.
