RE: hey

Donald Ducking (shirt and no bottom) and a cap help prevent sunburn from the water reflection for me.

Been a long time since I've seen or heard of Donald Duck so it took a second to sink in. But THAT is funny! lol! ... and it's definitely going onto my Naturist Terminology List ;-)

RE: hey

Once away from public launch area its naked. I accordion fold an old towel beside my seat in case of "errant fishermen". I once had to use the towel while chatting with a youth group out canoeing! It wasn't all that hot but I was sweating!I do wear a broad brimmed hat to protect just my ears and face!

RE: hey

Sunglasses, sunscreens, hat and water shoes unless close to civilization. PFF attached to the tie downs on the kayak unless in known rough water

RE: hey

Yes, I often paddle naked. Most of my boats are sit-in styles and unless others are somehow elevated, they can't really see anything. The group I paddle with knows that when I separate myself from the bunch, that I'll be naked and they can join me or not as they are inclined.

RE: hey

i usually wear a speedo leaving my dry clothes in the car ,rolled over a few times so why not be prepared and easier when launch canoe or yak and once away from ramp and view i can sometimes get nude.

RE: hey

I'm a sea kayaker so paddle with PFD, usually a cagoule as well, plus speedos and shorts. Have to use a spray deck too. Conditions are changeable here and it can get rough.

So I think it depends on the location - lots of sun and flat water and I can ditch the spray deck, but in most cases I use kayaking as a means to get myself away from the crowds to remote spots where I can then camp, hike or run nude.
