Utilikilts?
Hi there,
I have a Utilikilt and love hiking in it! It is not the normal attire where I live at all (this part of Connecticut is not very cutting edge!), but so comfortable and free! I love it! The funny thing is I find when I hike in pants, people smile and say hello and keep going, but when I am in the kilt, people generally stop and ask about the dogs! I think they want to stop and make sure they are really seeing a man in a kilt (probably want to ask the age-old question as well!) and can only think to ask about the dogs! Too funny!

I have five. My fave is the Survival kilt--I love that soft cotton canvas and the "pants pockets". I used to work the Utilikilts booth at street fairs before they cut back on the program--had some fun times (and sold some kilts).

Took a wonderful hike up Atalita Mountain near Santa Fe in my Survival kilt this weekend. It was really nice to have the breeze while climbing! I did have to put the modesty buttons together on the way down - a bit on the windy side I guess :o)
I have 5 utilikilts and enjoy wearing them. This is the closest to being naked in public as I dare othern than in appropriate naked area, beaches, resorts, at home, etc. I wish they were a little cheaper and I would have a few more added to the collection.
