I worked 24 hr shifts ... I'm a nudist and lived at work, part of
the time, as I did at home. When able and when appropriate, I was
naked. The station, where I worked regularly, was two story. The
private area; locker room, head/showers and dorms were upstairs.
This is the area where I was naked when possible, usually in the
later evening hours. Everyone at work, on my shift, at my station and many of those that knew me or knew of me, also knew I was a nudist.
On occasion, I'd have to go downstairs to the business area of the
station, usually late at night or very early in the morning. I
would do this while naked, take care of business and then head back
upstairs to my private dorm. On occasion, a female would work with
us and I'd sometimes give her my dorm and sleep in the main dorm
with the firemen. My routine, my sleeping naked didn't change and
my crew and those I routinely worked with accepted it and were also
respectful
I was caught the first time by my boss who also worked 24 hr shifts
but had his own office and dorm adjacent to my main office. First
time he saw me in the office was around 12:30 am. I'd gotten a call
and needed to address those needs and just got up, went downstairs
and began some phone calling and computer work when he came out of
his office and saw me sitting naked at my desk. He was startled at
first but then said ... "you have something to put on if the front
door bell rings, don't you?" I opened my file drawer to show him a
pair of shorts and t shirt and he just smiled and gave me a thumbs
up! Subsequent meetings where I was naked in those same situations
and he was leaving on a response or coming back from one were quite
uneventful with usually just a had wave as he went into his office
or dorm. Got to the point where even he was comfortable
standing there talking to me about something, during these
encounters.
I'm retired but I have jobs to do in our village hall, which I help to run. They can only be done when the hall is empty. So I'm free to be naked while I do them. I also create and erect scenery for out theatrical group, again done in the hall alone, and frequently naked
Does having sex at work count in this category?
No.There is a difference between nudity and sex (even though we might be naked for either)
I think nakedness is compulsory for nudity - although some across the puddle seem to think that some clothing is still required.
I cant help feeling as though if that were a man (like myself) they would have ran out screaming, called the police, and there would be no more job to come back too the next day, and oh the water cooler gossip.
I agree with this. Gender inequality unfortunately exists, and also works both ways.
There are many things that women would get away with that men wouldn't. Equally unfortunately, often it's other men's faults. The majority get tarred with the same brush as the minority.
Unfortunately, my work is in a glass fronted showroom, so naked working really wouldn't go down very well at all
As I'm naked at home, if I work from home, then it goes without saying
