Zootopia
Saw the movie Zootopia yesterday. Cracked me up, although it is an animated movie about animals, there is a scene where they go to a 'Naturist resort' where all the animals are 'nude' and the main character needs to talk with someone there, an elephant doing yoga. The main character cringes at first etc and by the end of the scene it does not seem to be a big deal.
In a way, kind of nice subtle piece that points out it is not a bid deal to kids and adults alike.
It was hilarious! I've seen it twice.
And yeah, it was a cute scene with a lot of truth: we weren't born to wear clothes. Sure, climates can dictate the necessity, but it's not a must in more normal climates, like the area of Zootopia where the nudist resort was operating.
I came here looking for discussion on this. I have a mixed feeling to it. On the one hand,it is nice to see in a big Hollywood kid's movie. On the other hand, it was done pretty much for laughs, but at least it is showing it to a mainstream audience.
