Going to San Antonio

I'm going to Texas mid May and was wondering what nudists resorts I should visit that are near San Antonio. I was thinking about going to Sahnoans. Can anybody tell me about that one or what you recommend?

Star Ranch is a bit more toward Austin. Friends have been there and say it is a welcoming atmosphere! A bit rustic, but they say it is very comfortable.

if you have a means of transportation and the time, a relatively short drive north to Hippie Hollow is worth the effort (IMHO)

I'ma member out at the Star Ranch. It's a nice place with welcoming people. We have all the usual facilities like an outdoor pool and an indoor poolwith hot tub. Clubhouse with Wi-Fi, Satellite TV and a pool table. On theweekends the restaurant kitchen is open for brunch. We have rental rooms in the clubhouse and rental cabins. There are a lot of full time residents along with people who have cabins that they come out to every weekend. Coming in from San Antonio, you can come up I-35 or take the 130 toll way. I-35 is lots of heavy traffic, 130 is a pleasanter drive and is famous for having a speed limit of 85 miles an hour. The nearest town is Elgin, well known for it's BBQ. If you need supplies Elgin has both a Walmart and an HEB. The Star Ranch also sells a fewsupplies.McDade only has a gas station/convenience store on Hwy 290 and a food trailer that sells breakfast tacos, also on Hwy 290. Be sure to bring a flashlight to carry when out walking at night. The area around the clubhouse is well lit, but most of the rest of the property is really dark at night. We have some nice large lawns, heavy woods and plenty of roads and trails for walking.I do a lot of driving around the region, feel free to send me a private message if you have any questions about San Antonio or Central Texas. Enjoy your visit.
