I checked my list of groups and found that I was a member here. I was like, hey why did I join that group? Oh yeah, because Ive been on this site so long that I was actually a thirty something when I joined up.

Ill stick around if its okay with everyone. Unfortunately, this isnt the more active group. That might be why I didnt realize I was still here.

Just a word or two about my experience as a younger nudist when I was in my 20s and 30s. A lot of clubs arent welcoming to younger folks and werent when I was coming up. This isnt always intentional. Some are run by aging boomers who dont do outreach to bring younger nudists in. Some have realized that the best way to make money is from condo, trailer or RV rentals. Catering to that crowd often means going for upper middle class retirees and neglecting the under 50 crowd.

Its funny that even as Ive gotten older (48 now), I still lower the average age of the crowd at the nude resorts Ive visited. I dont know why the industry as a whole doesnt see this as a problem.

Of course, the lifestyle doesnt only exist at clubs. I fell in with the local Burning Man group and if they have a get together at a house with a pool, there will be skinny dipping. These are folks who are obviously cool with nude recreation, but wouldnt be caught dead at a nudist club. Of course, I dont think theyve been invited either.
