I'm not in Brissy but still on the same continent. In my experience, nudism is a great way to address body issues. It helps one become more comfortable in their own skin (literally) which in turn helps one be more at ease with others.

You may not be the "best looking guy" in the sense that People magazine hasn't put you on their cover as "Sexiest Man Alive" (their fault, not yours), but you'r really quite an attractive guy. Also, though lots of people have body issues (including a friend of mine who has incredible abs), your body is good. Love it.
As for not fitting in the the group's main membership, I suspect everyone is welcoming. (I peeked at the College Nudists group and saw lots of guys my age, few if any of whom are likely in college at the moment.)
