I am not losing it but it is getting dull and grey. I dye it every few weeks. I am long overdue right now. Can't wait for the dye get here.

Your confusion is understandable as pubic hair was banned sometime in the early 80's shortly after the demise of Betamax and VHS rentals:-) I have "colored" mine for decades with a weekly application of Magic Shaving Powder.
