Return to DiscussionsI wonder in general why South Africans are so very conservative concerning nudism and nudity...When one grew up on the "platteland",and went to a "Plaas skool",nudity wasn't something odd.We used to swim naked and go scouting naked in the forests and caves...South Africans have a weird sense of nudism...its something really bad....ugly...yet,in SA we have a pretty large nudist awareness...there was Bau Brummel....SANFED....I belong to WCNA......yet nudity is still frowned on...But I am proud to be a nudist,and proud to be an Afrikaans nudist/naturist....I am typical Afrikaans...love bare feet walking...outdoor life and a braai,I love our mountains and lakes....and nature wonders,grew up in the old Eastern Transvaal,Hendrinna,moved to Barberton...and have never been anything else than a nudist....my friends knew me so,and all that know me know I am a naturist/nudist....
