Return to DiscussionsYesterday I had a follow up colonoscopy with my usual doc. When I got in to the room, the nurse said that she thought she recognized me. I told her that I had the last one done 5 years ago. Then she says 'yeah, aren't you the guy that gardens in the nude?" "Yes, I reply, that was probably me." She then proceeded to tell me that she grew up on a farm running around naked as a kid, and she still enjoy nude sunbathing.
So we bonded the rest of the time and shared some of our naked experiences. Made the day so much better to find a kindred soul.
That's a good story out of a colonoscopy. I've had a few of them and when I was coming to from the meds the nurse said hello and called me by name. I thought nothing of it as they have my chart, but then she came over and started talking to me, she was the wife of a guy I do some work with, strange who you meet.
