As a runner in South Texas I have always wanted to strip down and run naked mostly because I was just hot. As I have learned more about naturism and my love for trail running I have decided to run a naked 5k. I am shooting for Chilly Cheeks on October 5 , 2024 at Star Ranch. Hopefully it goes well and maybe 2025 I can complete the series. Training starts now and fingers crossed but I think I planted the seed in wifes ear early enough that maybe she will accompany me for the weekend.
Has anyone else done a naked 5k? Do you have any tips especially for training?
Adam
Congratulations on a big step forward, Adam!AANR 5k Series fingers crossed but I think I planted the seed in wifes ear early enough that maybe she will accompany me for the weekend.UPDATE***My wife joined me for a one day visit to our first nude resort. I decided that we should try and visit on a day when it would be less busy. She agreed to give it a shot. It was fantastic. We hiked and explored the facility. She even felt comfortable enough to rest at a bench by herself while I jogged for a mile. Although she didnt go nude, she was comfortable enough with me stripping down and with no worries. It was a huge step and I have hope she will join me again and one day go naked.Adam
Trails have been amazing the past few days. Full moon and clear skies has made it feel like daylight on the trails. I have been running completely clothes free (minus my emergency shorts in hand) but havent used them in a few weeks.
Excited for my first 5k!
Like others said, totally inside the fence . It is a very big place I am thinking well over 110 acres. Lots of rustic trails & places for camping. Homes are also on the property - see the website for all the offerings.
I have raced there - always a good programs with 400+ runners every time.
