Return to DiscussionsI am new to the community. I live in Wisconsin and visit Texas in the colder months.
Last Fall we spent a week in Texas at a number of camping locations. The best one for naturist activities that we found is South Padre Island.
There are two remaining access points to the beach for 4 wheel drive vehicles. The farthest north is almost at the end of the road. Go a few miles north on the beach to UFO beach, well beyond the end of the road. (You will know it when you see it.)
I think you can continue for another 30 miles or so. Run, hike, sunbathe freely. There was a naked party going on on New Years Day.
I recommend it. Next time we will try Padre Island. It is the next barrier island north of South Padre. We want to go to the National Sea Shore there. Starts in Corpus Christi.

The June 27 Milwaukee ride is nearby, but I prefer the forest and beaches. The more remote, the better.
June is a beautiful time in Wisconsin. I hope to convince my wife to camp with me at a naturist campground.
If medical appointments don't interfere, we may get back to Texas in March or April.
