Return to DiscussionsI hike naked every chance I get, risky yes, but you have to know where to go. Theres a lake north of where I live with some pretty good uninhibited trails, usually busy during the summer with campers and such, I find the best times for all nude hikes is morning during the week. If the parking area is empty, I have no worries. I wear a sarong from my Jeep to the beginning of the trail, its easy on, easy off in case someone happens upon me. Its about a two mile trail, wooded with open areas, talk about getting into nature, the feeling is totally awesome. So far, over the last several years Ive never been caught nude, then again, IF someone is coming or going I simple wrap the sarong around me. Problem solved. Hike naked!
I do exactly the same thing here in Texas. The trail is empty then. It is a 2 mile length one way out. Easy to be naked jogging out. Takes a bit more nerve doing it all the way back in. I done it many times over the years.
In mid summer daytime (texas100+ temps) I can walk the woods with nothing on- only me out there in the heat.
