Hiking, naked in the Bug Bend
Return to DiscussionsAre use to live in Big Bend NP. It was great to go hiking. I'd wear a shirt and shorts and a backpack. As soon as I was away from the trail head I chucked the clothes and put them in the backpack. Some trails or better for this than others. No way would I hike the Lost Mine Trail, the Window Trail, naked, but there were others that leant themselves to naked hiking because there were so few people or you could see if people were coming. Maria Vega was a good one because so few people hiked it however, it was a tough hike, generally speaking the hikes on the desert floor, where the better ones.
