Return to DiscussionsWe have been nudist for 25 years.
Last fall, we decided to take a trip to the NE. Neither of us had been that way. We just looked at a map and blindly picked out Bangor Maine as our destination. Then we began searching for a place to stay. We searched VRBO. We found a cabin that sounded really neat and met our budget. Two weeks before we were set to leave, we got a note the cabin was no longer available. The owner said they had rented it for a year and even though they were sorry, we were without a place.
Back to VRBO and we found another cabin. The description wasn't as nice but it met our budget. We booked it. Arriving, we found the cabin quaint and it met our needs perfectly. Our first two days were full of sightseeing. We weren't far from the ocean. Having both grown up in the Midwest, the Maine coast gave us a lot of new experiences.
The cabin was deep in the forest. There were a couple houses along the 1/2 mile dirt trail to the cabin. We couldn't see any thing but trees from the cabin. On the third or forth day, we returned to the cabin early. It was a beautiful fall afternoon. Walking to the back of the cabin, we decided to enjoy nature as Nature intended. We stripped and enjoyed a couple hours nude. Later, we even explored some in the forest with only shoes on.
We spent several afternoons naked in the forest.
One other day, we were out and about just taking in the scenery. We happened to stop at a State Park. This State Park didn't have camping but it had a well developed swimming beach. And.... There was no one around. We could easily see the parking lot from the beach. So, as nudist, we decided to enjoy nature. We stripped off in the changing area and spent an hour walking along the beach and around the park wearing only our shoes.
For those who are familiar with Maine, we were at Swan Lake State Park near Belfast Me
