Light out at the hot tub
Return to DiscussionsThere is a gazebo with a hot tub at my local nude resort. It has a single bulb that lights the whole interior. Because there is only one light, whenever a moth crosses close to that bulb, there is a shadow cast that looks like a giant bat.
Last night, I stopped in to see who was around and maybe get a soak. I went to the gazebo and saw that the light was out. I checked around for a switch. I didnt find one, so I assumed the light was just out. I hung out in the pool and realized how many patterns there were in the water I could see in the bits of moonlight that snuck in. The water was greenish black in the dimness, and the jets would leave this hazy trail in the dark water. It looked like the Milky Way as seen from a suburban street.
Two couples came in, so I got dressed and left.
My hot tub had an underwater light years ago. A friend and I were soaking and I moved my foot in front of it which caused it to look like it was flashing on and off. My friend noticed and asked what was happening. I told her I thought the water was shorting out the light socket and shrugged it off. The look on her face was priceless
