Heaven at Haridwar

Return to Discussions

I have come to Haridwar 3 days back. Today morning I first had a scope to have sun bath and oil massage (self) in nude, at the terrace of the hotel. There were not many guests and few who were there had left for the day trip. So i was almost alone...so enjoyed the nude stint very much.
After lunch I walked along the river, towards the other side where the tourists do not generally go.
It was a beautiful stretch of flowing rivers - Ganga and Mandakini. the place was covered with pebbles and trees at distance. There was no one close except few saints in saffrons.
I had nice sun bath, nude bathing. Then met a young saint (at his late 20s) who was washing cloths, wearing a langothi. I went to him and he greeted me with warm smile.
- are you a digambar saint? he asked me.
- not actually, though I love their principle, but I am a worshiper of nature and love pay my homage in nude.
He seemed to be very comfortable in me being nude.
After some chat, I came back to the place where I kept my cloths. And was deeply moved with the serenity of nature that attracted the seers since time immemorial.

Could not ignore the tremendous magnetic power of the place and again I found myself in the same location on 24th Nov.This time too, I met a sadhu who is a naga sanyasi. I had very rich discussion with him and he invited me to his hermit in the evening. I spent almost 3 hours in that place and listened to some favorite music saved in my mobileph where the background music was the rippling sound of the river, murmur of leaves and call of wild ducks.

I reached there and stripped completely within 2 mins. I stood in front of the gorging river....listened to its sound....took a deep breath...felt as if the energy from the nature is filling my entire body.

I sat quietly on the bank...closed my eye...felt the touch of the wind on my naked skin...it was cold though. The warmth of the sun ray was very pleasant....I concentrated on my sense of smell....the fragrances of forest, wet stones and moss....I played a favorite music.Shivoham shivoham...I am not thelife, neither the five elements of life, nor the seven metals, I am not space, not wind, neither the fire I am, nor the mighty ocean, the vast land not I am....I am ever existing, blissful consciousness , I am the Shiva, the Shiva am I.

I folded my palms and with closed eyes conveyed my gratitude to God for giving me this wonderful opportunity to experience the serene nature in a natural way...

If you feel tired just lie down on the sandy patch amidst the pebbles, close your eyes and fall asleep. There is no worry about your clothing or other stuff. No one will come here other than sadhus. and even if any village people come they will not disturb you if they feel that you are in meditative state.
