A Sun Lover

Any nudist around the world who loves the kisses of sun rays on the bare skin....

I was drive along the Great Ocean Road, Victoria. Southern Australia yesterday, it was a beautiful sunny winters day. I went to a quiet secluded spot stripped off and enjoyed an hour of beautiful winter sun, it was around 15c. Went for a walk along the short beach and a few cars on the road saw me and gave a toot. A few years ago I had some tests that showed low vitamin D levels so my wife told me to get some sun, I gotten plenty ever since. Getting some winter sun is extra special as it feels like a gift.

I should have done the same but rather than commit to the longer drive I only went as far as a local park where I figure I could possibly get away with laying out, but have yet to dare to do so. Coming on here to read accounts from the northern hemisphere had me thinking of a missed opportunity of nude beach time in a Melbourne winter. Well done for taking the chance yourself!

Technically, if vitamin D is your concern, you could settle for wearing a swimsuit.

Yes technically I could have settled for wearing a swimsuit and still gotten enough Vitamin D, but where is the enjoyment for a nudist in that? Being nude at the beach in a beautiful location is major enjoyment factor. It's also nice that this was not a legal CO beach, but it was deserted so I could not offend anyone but hopefully I educated some people driving past and normalised nudity a little for them.

It's always funny to me. You speak about your winter. And I have summer.

It may be funny to you we are talking about winter and you're having summer but it's not to me (LOL) it's been really cold since the little gift of sun we were given last week. Ad a gift is exactly what it was. 15-16c is around 60f roughly I think and if there is no wind it's quite pleasant. Makes me appreciate the nice days of spring & autumn, summer you just expect warm weather.

That nice day has made me look out for any nice weather where I may get another similar opportunity, not sure it's going to happen but I'm a glass half full type so I'll be ready.

Our summer in Germany is not funny this year. The last 2 year we had temperature until 38C = 100F and this year we had days in July with rain and wind and only 16C = 60F. Only good for the farmers and the wood. The soil is much too dry from the last 2 years.

I managed some more winter sun late last week along the coast. It was not as enjoyable, I went to one of the popular CO beaches that is not legal but used as CO for 50 years. There were a few other people around so it was harder to be nude and discrete. But managed a little time and got a little vitamin D, haha. Also my intent is to normalise nudity a little more, well as much as one person can.

19C/66F in Melbourne right now and sunny, if breezy. I should be somewhere other than an office!

No winter sun down this way this year. I had to go to north Queensland for a couple of weeks to enjoy some sun. Might have to return next month if this does not improve, just no sun forecast for some time.

I spoke too soon, had a great day of winter sun on Sunday (ironically). Around 17-18c, sunny much of the day. Beautiful for winter and for some vitamin D.
