With me it was different. I think they took very little. I still feel some pain in the skin near the glans as if it were hurting every time I have sex.

Hi,
the exact same thing happened to me!
It was a few years ago. Erections were very painful. I asked my doctor but she said she had to remove that much skin.
Now that I read your post I am not so sure anymore :-(
