Nude at Home, with Company and/or Kids
Return to DiscussionsArecent posting on All Nudist talked a bit about the dilemma of houseguestsor grown kids moving back in to a household of nudists. Where does your right to be comfortable in your own home give way to consideration of their sensabilities?
When nudist friends visit us it has been our practice to all be nude, but with a non-nudist son back at home that would be difficult. Or do we just tell him to get lost?
Angie won't be nude in front of any of he kids, I do when I feel like it.
What are YOUR thoughts? How do you deal with it? Let's hear from you!
Rick, what if you started a group for folks near to you, get some networking going. Maybe some of you could get together sometime or plan on meeting at a nudist venue? Hey, that's what networking's all about, right? You can link it to your Truenudist page, plus webpages. plus Indiana Nudists (naturists?). C'mon, give it a shot! Summer's coming! Steve
Know the problem with kids. We've had various ones living around here at various times, plus spouses. It's a pain, though you love 'em.
Couple of thoughts: First, send them to All Nudist. There's lots of stuff there for interested (or not) people. Second, and this one is harder (we had to learn it), it's YOUR house. They're old enough, if they don't like your lifestyle let them go out in the real world and pay for their own house. Tough love.
We had a son, his wife and two kids, plus another son all here (during our honeymoon!) for monthsand bent over backwards to accomodate them. Even built walls to give them privacy. Not good enough. Finally told them all to get out. Scram.
We all get along much better now. They visit, we dress. They leave, we don't.
