It would be great to be able to abandon clothes altogether, but it's not
practical yet.
Even though you may spend all your time nude at home, you still have to go to work, the store, etc.
Will we ever have nudist communities or towns that would allow full time nudity?
I'm on the board of directors for GNI (Gay Naturists International) and we have our annual 'Gathering' -- and that's always 10/11-days naked. -- never getting dressed... every year for 14y. 7-days totally nude (barefoot and all) in Cap d'Adge (amazing!!!!)7-days totally nude (again, barefoot) in the Dominican Republic for a GNI-sponsored event.Always naked at home... and all weekends--usually have friends over; or we go there... always naked friends.My goal is for an entire summer.... now to make that happen! :-)
I've managed to stay nude for 2 weeks a few times, when staying at nudist holiday resorts. Some people wear things in the evenings but my attitude is that I've gone there to enjoy being a nudist full time so I stay naked all of the time. Its a wonderful feeling to be naked that long, but leaving is very hard, clothing is the problem, re-entering the textile world is not my favourite thing to do. But at least it means I travel light and packing doesn't take long to do.
I'm always nude at home unfortunately one needs to go out for running the errands which can't be done nude, however I did manage to be nude for a full 7days to be nude without putting on one peace of textile and I did get so used to it. There was textiles and other nudists around, but this was one awesome 24/7 period.
My longest has been 11-days.As a member of the Board of Directors for GNI/Gay Naturists International, our annual (now in it's 30th year!) Gathering is 10-days.... and as a board member--arrive a day early. I try to be the first naked one... and the last one! I've also done a Naked Week in Cap d'Adge... that was wonderful! At night, I was the only naked one! Even that was fun being naked mingling with the Clothed People!

I've done similar at Cap d'Agde, we went there to be nude with thousands of like minded people so that's what we did. It did seem a bit strange being one of the few who remained completely naked 24/7 when most of the rest had been nude all day with us but tended to 'dress' in the evenings. Dress covering anything from light and casual clothing to a wide range of fetish outfits, many of which hid very little. Mingling while naked with clothed people was fun I agree, it is how I'd like us to be able to do so more widely, where clothing is optional and public nudity is accepted.
Because it was Cap d'Agde though we didn't feel out of place at all because we were nude at night time. Not all restaurants and bars admit naked people in the evenings, but we found places where our nudity wasn't a problem. We visited a few clubs nude too and felt completely at ease, as many others of their clientele hid very little of their bodies with cloth/leather/pvc etc the fact that we were fully nude was fine.
We stayed nude from arrival through to our departure, holiday mission accomplished, just got to find a way to live nude permanently now!
