Return to DiscussionsI wish society would accept some nudity at least at some public places, I think public nudity needs to become gradually acceptable overtime instead of just allowing public nudity all together. I think public parks would be a great place to start, especially if there are water fountains in place for people to get wet. As one user said, public nudity needs to be practical, and to some extent in can be, it just takes careful thinking and planning by the right people in the right places at the right time. I have learned women are pretty good judges at flashing in public, so I'm confident they will help make public nudity more acceptable. I think public nudity would help peoples moods to, we might be more willing to smile and laugh, but with clothes on, that seems more uncomfortable and awkward, which seems totally opposite of the way it should be. lol.

I agree there is nothing wrong with nudity as is natural I do think it would have to policed tho as there are perverts out there who would ruin thongs for the rest if us
Well the good thing is they are sort of coming to terms with women breastfeeding in public (slowly) but it is happening. I always compliment the lady and tell her she is a very good mom, and be on my way. Then sure enough sooner or later there is a pervert comes up starts pointing and acting crazy so the gal has to discontinue her feeding, put things away, until he leaves the area. Breasts do not fascinate me, I guess, like they do some guys, when a gal is breast feeding she is doing exactly what her breasts were intended for. So let it be a natural occurrence. Guys don't make it something that it isn't. So maybe public nudity will grow (slowly), I hope so, but I am sure it won't be in my lifetime. Of course some actresses dresses and outfits get any skimpier they would be better off nude because I am sure it would be a lot more comfortable.
I suspect it's all the doing of the media, which is multiple faced about any issues, certainly not encouraging the best for society, neither will they ever make nudity in public easy for us nudists. We will find resistance for a long time to come yet.
Perhaps naive but I do believe that if nudity were more publicly accepted, many of the perverts issues might evaporate or at least be dealt with by a broader minder society. The textile preoccupation I feel distorts society and enhancers the thrill for the pervert. How is that our society actually seems to me more horrified at the thought of public nudity as opposed to violence. Perhaps just old hippy at heart. Wish people could just accept others
