Return to DiscussionsThe shirt incident reminded me of the time when I had outpatient shoulder surgery and couldn't get my t-shirt back on after the procedure.
They made me wear a hospital gown to leave.
I was wearing shorts, so there was nothing exposed between the waist and a little above the knees.
I rarely wear underwear - and I am usually topless if I can't be nude. I never wear a bra. If I have to put on clothing - I like the material to be very thin and light, like a thin halter or sundress. I have pumped gas topless many times - and have never had any trouble. We aren't supposed to have to wear clothing - especially in intensely hot weather!
In summer I try to keep my clothling to the minimum: only pants or shorts and shirt ... no underwearBut I prefer to be naked as much and as often as possible
Do you just wear shorts and skip the shirt when it is warm enough and in a place where it is allowed?
Had a colonoscopy done a few years ago. When the nurse came in to wake me up and help me dress, she opened the clothing bag and said she didn't see any underwear. I told her I never wear it. Her response was, "It would be nice if everyone was like you. It would make my job easier!!!"Score another victory for freeballing.I went to my dermatologist and he did my thorough exam while in one of the paper gowns. He asked if I spent time in the sun and I said yes. He said he thought so from my color and noticed no tan lines. I responded that I was a nudist. He was totally cool with it and said I was in great shape.
I wish my dermatologist was encouraging of a nude exam.
However, I would not want to go to and from a colonoscopy without underwear. Too much chance of minor leakage.
My dermatologist (and my primary care doctor) are both well aware that I'm a nudist. Both have commented on the no-tan lines and both are very cool with it. The dermatologist has noted that he needs to do a FULL body exam as a result, which I'm fine with.
