Depression Glass

Return to Discussions

I had an extensive collection of Depression Glass sugars and creamers, over sixty sets, but have downsized drastically and only have two or three left in cobalt blue and ruby red. I didn't need that many as I drink my coffee black! I also have a large collection of Avon Hummingbird Crystal. It is packed in boxes as I have no space to display it. I did enjoy collecting it and displaying it while I had it but space became an issue when I moved into an apartment. I still enjoy finding pieces at flea markets and yard sales but I have to remind my self that I don't need it.

I have a few pieces mostly green that were my dad's. My kitchen has lots of color. Red , blue , and green dominate in dishes. I like to set a colorful table

I concentrated on the Ruby Red and the Cobalt Blue but had other colors until I downsized to move into a smaller place.
