Australian Naked Hikers
With Australia been such a big place, and most of the Naturist Locations been towards the coast, This group has been started to fill the Gap in Inland areas. Once we get numbers up I will try and organize Day Hikes, Overnight Hikes, and possibly even Week Long Hikes. As well as possible visits to beaches and resorts once the club is a bit bigger.

Return to DiscussionsDJERRIWARRH RESERVOIR, TOOLERN VALEGrade/ Length/ Type:Easy to medium, approx 9 km circuit walk. Four hours walking time plus 40 min lunch stop. We walk on 4WD drive tracks, single lane walking trails and kangaroo pads. About 3km is on kangaroo pads and the walking speed is quite slow. There are some moderate but short hills on the walk and a slightly longer one near our car park.
Meeting Point / Time:Meet at 10 am at the Toolern Vale General Store for coffee and registration. The exact address is1486 Diggers Rest-Coimadai Rd. Warning re location:Google maps have "Toolern Vale" incorrectly positioned in the forest NE of the township. You need to key in Toolern Vale General Store, or the exact address. We plan to drive to the start of the walk 10 mins away at 10.30 am.

If the day is a bit cool or you need protection from the sun, clothes can be worn to keep you comfortable.
Activity Description:This event is for Naturists. Shed your clothes and enjoy a 'back to nature' walk in a remote and rarely visited forest. We've been fortunate to gain access to this section of the park through a private farm property. Djerriwarrh Reservoir is hidden in the middle of the Pyrete Forest and is most picturesque. If the day is warm and sunny you may enjoy a swim.
Afternoon Tea:If desired we can have afternoon tea after the walk atLa Headquarters Cafe, 318 - 320 High St, Melton. This is on the north side of High St (the main street) on the corner of Palmerston St (Melway Map 337, ref B8).
