I wanted to check it out for the day or stay Saturday night just to check things out to see if I'd like it. Any suggestions for a first time newbie? Do they allow you to bring your own alcohol? Hows the sites for camping or the condos?

...............Brian as a brand new 24/7 nudist and permanent resident of Avalon, this place is terrific , you can bring your on alcohol but they have a nudsino here and a abc lic, also your other half doesn't have to get nude unless she wants in the pools, I think she would feel comfortable, if this is your first time then the first day is free, go to Avalon.com and print and fill out the coupon, the staff is super, look me up lot 506 Rowdy loop...................ruhl

How does payment work then since it's not quite so easy to carry around a wallet?...................your welcome, when you register , you can give Marcie , Dee, or who ever register you in the office will ask you if you want to register a credit card or pay by cash, when you check out , they will have whatever you have gotten and will settle then, if you eat or go to the nudecenio , then they will ask your name and that is how you buy stuff here, also when you check in they will make a copy of your drivers lic, anymore questions call 304-947-5600 that is the office and they can answer more than me, remember my first visit was july 5 so I don't know everything yet lol. contact me 506 Rowdy Loop when you get here, Ruhl

Brian, we love Avalon but I'd suggest if you are really going to visit you should bring your wife with you. I can't imagine having to hang out at a nudist resort without my significant other! What's her hang up? I have a great wife that might even be up to talking with your wife if that would help! The environment at Avalon isso none judgmental and non-threatening it's ridiculous why more people can'tbe accepting with dropping theirclothing and just relaxing for a great time.Some solo males might have the idea they can go there for a hook up...which is way wrong if that is your intention. There are other places for that kind of stuff with far less wrinkled butts to stare at.

The people (those who live and work there as well as fellow
guests) are very warm and welcoming! The camp ground, condos,
and lodge are all very nice. There are two pools - one indoor
and one outdoor. Just go and have fun - alone or with your
significant other you will be welcomed warmly. Like they say
Almost Heaven West Virginia - this place is Almost Heaven Avalon!
You won't regret visiting Avalon!
