Avid Naked Readers
For those who love to read, either old fashioned paper books ( and my preferred way) or the new fangled ebooks. There was a book reading nudist group at one time but i have not found any trace of it. So this will fill the void.
How many books did you read in 2024?
Return to DiscussionsOh I am so sad to say None !
But I did build a patio/carport. But have been trying to get the internet in my shop for audio books. But having way too much trouble. The wife is going to give me her old hearing aids and they are Bluetooth capable. Then I can get back to listening to books again !
At one point I was going through five books a week before I retired and had to work on our homes
Hard to know, Probably less than 10. I do more writing than reading. I'd like to do more of both, but the days seem to fill up fast. I have a pretty selective reading list, but it's growing faster than I'm getting through it.
Well, I havent read any books in 2025
I didnt read any books at all in the last three years. Sad to say.
But I was able to find a couple of CD players, and Ive been listening to audiobooks as fast as I can. Id say Im close to 10 books in the last two months maybe a month

I find most all of the audiobooks I listen to on librivox.org. They've got plenty of public domain books recorded by volunteers a chapter at a time, and it's a great source of free books to listen to. They're all older books, but there are plenty of good stories from a century ago (and many of those stories are still being re-used today). It was a little bit disconcerting at first to have the story broken into pieces, but honestly it's no different than putting a book down to do something else for a while.
