Avid Naked Readers
For those who love to read, either old fashioned paper books ( and my preferred way) or the new fangled ebooks. There was a book reading nudist group at one time but i have not found any trace of it. So this will fill the void.
A couple of good reads
Return to DiscussionsThese hot lazy days of summer have allowed for above average time spent reading. Here are a couple of very good books I have recently read. The Walk by Philippe Petit. About his tightrope walk between the World Trade Center towers in 1974. A Lucky Child by Thomas Buergenthal. True story told in first person by a 10 yrthat survived the Holocaust. The Tattooist of Auschwitz. By Heather Morris. A novel based on a true story of a New who survived and found love during that horrible time.
The Walk had a couple of surprising nude events in it. Philippe's team used a bow and arrow to shoot the first line across between the Towers. In the predawn darkness Philippe could not find the arrow so he stripped off all his clothes so that he could feel the fishing line with his bare flesh. He found the arrow balancing on the very edge of the building. The second nude event was after the walk was over and he has his accomplices had been released from a brief custody. When they got back to the apartment several press people were there clamoring for an interview. One of his cohorts who had escaped capture came out of the shower nude, looking for a towel and went about unfazed by the group of reporters vying for the scoop.
I want to watch the resulting movie and see if those scenes were included.
