Avid Naked Readers

For those who love to read, either old fashioned paper books ( and my preferred way) or the new fangled ebooks. There was a book reading nudist group at one time but i have not found any trace of it. So this will fill the void.

Ever simply not get into a book that everyone else just raves about?

This may have been a topic a while back. But figured might as well throw it out with the new members

For me it is Game of Thrones. and years ago The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay by Michael Chabon. Tried and tried to read both and could not get into either of them. SO moved on to stuff I wanted to read.

Be happy you didn't get into the Game of Thrones series of books. Those of us who did got in deep and were left hanging by George.

That has happened to me. When some one recommends a book I research it first, than decide if I want to read it.

Before my time, but famous: Naked Lunch. Why is that book famous? It's garbage!
