So, Just a few days ago, I was nude at home (as usual) and a utility worker was attempting to access a pole which is positioned on my neighbor's side of my privacy fence in the back yard. That neighbor is a "snowbird" and only lives there between November and May. That property also has a fence/gate system that prevents access to their backyard. I saw the utility worker briefly trying to position his truck in their driveway ( to use the bucket lift and then a ladder ) to access their yard. I saw him see me through my fairly large picture window and, being nude, I just casually moved into the next room. Several minutes later, this fella was at my door... I answered the knock with a robe kept by the front door for this purpose. The utility worker explained his unsuccessful attempt to access the pole and circumvent my neighbor's front fence, the said "I saw you were home and it looks like I can get at it from your side a little easier if that's ok?" I said that was no problem and mentioned that my fence normally hindered any view into my yard as well as my house, so I hoped his initial siting of me wasn't an issue. He replied "Absolutely not! It's your home...and today, I wish I had a totally fenced in yard myself!"
The guy brought his ladder into my yard and did whatever he needed to do. As he was finishing, I offered him a bottle of cold water and he accepted. Out of respect, I still had my robe on when he said "I'm guessing you can be naked back here, huh?" I told him that was why I had added my own privacy fence. Then he motioned to my garden hose and spout. He asked "Would you mind if I rinsed off real quick? I've been soaked through with sweat all day." I said "Of course not! Help yourself." I really thought he was just going to run water over his arms or head, but he ran to his truck, grabbed a new shirt and jeans, then proceeded to strip naked in my back yard...in front of me. While he hosed himself off, I went into the house, removed my robe, and returned with another bottle of cold water and a towel. Neither of us acknowledged our nudity at that point, but he declined the towel and said "The breeze feels good...it'll dry me."
So we stood there in my backyard for probably 30 minutes, nude and chatting. It was totally natural and just a great casual encounter with a utility worker...
