Not exactly awesome but...
Return to DiscussionsHad a knock at the door early morning, delivery guy, could I take a parcel for next door, I was naked, one of them deliveries where he was supposed to take a picture of me with the parcel,to prove he'd delivered it, .. I said go for it I'm not bothered, so DHL have a pic of me naked with a parcel in my hand,,As it was tracked, pic got sent to neighbour as proof of delivery, sparked an interesting conversation when they came round to collect it, !!!! They're quite new neighbours, least they know I'm a naturist now, so shouldn't be a surprise come the summer and I'm naked in the garden,
I think that's awesome!
Firstly having the courage to answer the door naked, and secondly facing up to it with the neighbour. Way to go! Well done.
I don't mind who knows I'm a Naturist, I just hesitate to shove it in their faces...
Well usually naked at home, so will be naked if anyone knocks on door, would have also bin naked when neighbour came round but had to get dressed to go to shop and they saw me coming back, so was still dressed ...damn...haha..
Its a great story, but Im confused by the situation. Why did DHL deliver someone elses package to you?
I don't know the specific reason, but there are packages which need to be tightly controlled. Here in America, it is not legal for a carrier to leave a package which has alcohol in it without getting confirmation that it was delivered to someone twenty-one or older. With the OP living in Britain, who knows. Most all wine in the USA is delivered via UPS, a bonded courier with contracts and agreements and licenses they have good reason to carefully protect. I would guess DHL has a similar situation in the UK where there needs to be confirmed delivery when the package is valuable or volatile.
I don't know what was in the package but as someone has said, any age restricted product, such as alcohol, some tools that could potentially used as weapons, even vape oil or coils are considered age restricted and have to be signed for by some one over 18, as they weren't in at the time he delivered it to me cos we both have signs on our doors saying ok to leave parcels with neighbour,
