How do you enjoy outdoor nudism with close neighbors
Return to DiscussionsI have seen many post on here where people have planted trees and tall bushes some have put up fences. I did not want to enclose my whole yard plus I could not afford it so I built a deck. Most of it was built using reclaimed lumber so that cut my cost to a very minimum. Still more to do to call it finished but enough done to share pictures. Okay I think they are all there now so the photos with the houses are my neighbors. The one with the three post is what I had in place from another project that I took down. The brown structure that you see is the outside of my deck and the ones with blue floors is the inside. I need to finish the fencing on the one wall, repaint all the fencing and repaint the floor. I was sitting in it this weekend some and it seemed like a pretty nice hide away.

I can only go out at night because I live in a fairly well populated neighborhood with moderate vehicle traffic during the day. I also live on a corner lot with very little fencing. What fences I have are 6 ft. tall and between neighbors to the south and west. I sat out tonight for about 20 minutes. Really nice weather for hanging out naked and no car traffic this late (11:30 pm).

I don't worry about the neighbors. I have a fence that sheilds me on two sides but houses on the other two sides can see me nude. They don't care really. They may stare a bit or say hi and I say hi back. I am unashamed to be nude as is my husband.

I dont have issues with the neighbors. We have a gate and only a few people have access codes. One is the mail lady so she can delivery packages that dont fit in the mailbox. Today I was working on my back deck, nude as usual, and was busy when I hear the horn sound. I look up and the mail lady drove up. Where I was she would not have seen me. I go in and get some shorts. I go out to get the mail which had a long box. Anyway, I told her I prefer being nude and put on shorts so I would not offend her. She told me she would not have a problem with it. So, next time she brings mail and I am out there I wont worry about offending her.

I hope to create a backyard nude oasis soon too. Currently, we are in a rental house and the backyard is a fairly large size, but its a fishbowl! Its open to both side neighbors AND the neighbor behind us -- only a 4' chain link fence separates the yards.
Since we are renting, I don't want to invest too much into fencing or landscaping. So, we're going to create a wire and curtain system to hang from the steel patio covered area. It'll make a nice 12' x 13' enclosed area. We're also thinking of getting a portable/inflatable hot tub for the patio.
