Understanding neighbors
Return to DiscussionsI was just talking to my neighbor lady through the fence which has gaps in it and I was naked. I told her that I was doing laps around the yard for exercise and it was safer than walking on the street and I can do it naked and she said all the better. When my other neighbor first moved in behind me I introduced myself and told him that I was a nudist and he said that he was ok with that but I put up a 6 ft fence anyway. I find it better to just be upfront about it and then you don't have to worry about it.
I am in my backyard all the time nude. One neighbor lady has seen me for sure and never said a word. The other ones sister use to tan topless at her own home down the block. She and I have talked about it and I told her tell your sister Im a nudist dont look through the cracks if shed. Rather not see. Never heard a word.
I'm not sure if we have understanding, tolerant or accepting neighbors. Those that can see or have seen us nude in our backyard have never mentioned it nor have they called the cops. I wish we had done that same thing and just talked to them about it but we did not. I think they are just allowing us to live our lives. I have stood at the fence with our only next door neighbors and talked and they've not said anything about me being nude.
Last Sunday I was laying out catching some sun the neighbors were out as well at there burn pit listing to music so I texted to them turn it up , a few minit's went buy and I heard a voice what kind of music do you want to hear I looked they were at the fence so I got up walked over and told them the hole time I was nude . They know I am a nudists and have seen me before but this was the first time up close
I've been gaining some confidence, out in the yard sunning! Still, not confident enough for "full exposure" at the entrance to the house - waited until night time, but out on porch on new bench completely naked & enjoying my Dominican rum and diet Pepsi! Quite a stretch for me!
Wow! The lady who walks her 3 shih tzus walked by and a neighbor is setting off fireworks- and I'm in the city! Not a word!!
BTW...walking back thru grass "fully naked" - I shucked off my loafers for the full and preferable naturist experience! Ain't nuttin' like that feeling!!
