Backyard Nudists
This is a group for those who may be Home Nudists or those who cannot always get to a Nudist Colony, Camp, or Resort and therefore take things into their own backyard! Whether your backyard is private enough or not, perhaps you lay out nude, skinnydip, garden, or mow the lawn, this group is for you!
do you dare?
Return to DiscussionsDo you have close neighbors? I have a house with neighbors. I have a private fence in back and soome tall bamboo. but i still worry about between the fence board oppenings abd a window from a house behind me that could look but is mostly hidden.
do you care if neighbors see you nude?
Best thing I did was to talk to them (I did it by text) I got tired of sneeking around my own yard , they were cool about it and it's been a couple years now but every spring I text the wife and ask if she's still ok with things , and I get waves and hi from both of them when they see me
do you care if neighbors see you nude?
I don't but my wife does. One has seen me once and he really was not impressed. sh*t happens.
If you make the best efforts you can to remain hidden then your neighbours should have little grounds for complaining
I do not care as long as Im not making a nuisance of myself Whenever I take the day off I go into the back garden and sunbathe closer to the conservatory. My neighbour can see me if she goes out of her way to come up to the fence / or look thro the gaps which she has done on quite a few occasions. But that is up to her. I have no problem with her looking .
We have two neighbours, a 6ft fence between one and a 5 ft fence the other. We've planted out the gaps in vegetation screening so it's pretty private but there are a couple of small openings here & there. So I don't sit reading or sunning myself in any direct lines of sight and when I'm walking I'm on the move and not in one place and they would see my upper body only. If they purposely peer through the small openings & see me well that's their issue I think. I'll continue to plant and prune the vegetation to get a full screen.
Our current home is a tract home. Density is medium/low but the houses are still about 14-16 ft apart. We have one next door neighbor and it's a 2 story house. We've have two separate couples live in that home since we bought this house. Both couples seem tolerant to our nudity. I suspect that they are just fine with my wife's nudity and tolerant of mine! hahahahaha
We bought this house purposely for a few reasons; single story, only 1 next door neighbor and adjacent homes are far enough away that with minimal landscaping, we have almost complete privacy without obstructing views of surrounding hillsides and mountains. We have a 6' block wall around 3 sides of our property and a 5.5 ft resin/vinyl fence between us and our neighbor. We've planted trees and landscaped to give us added privacy on that side.
These next door neighbors can, at times, see us naked in small sections of our side yard but it does not deter me from being naked out in this area at all. My wife is a bit more careful in that area but what she wears when she's working in this area of the property, she might as well just be naked! ;DD Do we care if they see us? No, not really. We don't want them to think we are forcing our nudism on them but we are just living as we please and as we have for over 47 years. Our nudist lifestyle isn't for their benefit, it's for ours and we'll continue to enjoy our property as such. Thankfully, we've had next door neighbors that are tolerant.
When we lived in Florida we had a pretty private back deck and could only be seen by the neighbors to the right and then they would have to be on the back of their property where their horses are. We have sold that house and moved to our cabin in North Carolina where we also have a pretty private back deck. Our neighbors on one side might be able to see me if they tried and may have at some point. Their cabin is about 100ft away and there are a few trees blocking most of the back deck. When he comes over to visit he yells my name before coming onto the front porch to my front door. They are pretty chill people so they probably won't ever bring it up.
Our house is on a corner and the house across the street is the only two story house that overlooks our backyard. They usually have their upper floor window blinds closed, but even so I stay to the half of the yard where our tall block wall blocks the view from the waste down. Next house I build must not be overlooked.
