Return to DiscussionsWe recently moved into a new house with a fantastic back yard. One side has a church with a massive wall, perhaps 16 feet tall. the back has a wall about 10 feet tall and the other side is about 7-8 feet tall. The front is the house, plus I put up some shade cloth on the side fences that face the front, so the back yard is incredibly secure.
We've never had this much privacy. It's fantastic.
Vitamin D harvesting takes place regularly now, from head to toes.
As you can see from our profile pic, our backyard is private, we put the wood fence up 5 years ago, 6 foot tall board on board with 2 foot of lattice on top. Before that we had a chain link and a 4 1/2 foot tall and a straggly hedge, we liked to sunbathe nude, so I bought one of those 4 foot tall beach wind breaker fences, I'd put up when we laid out. I gotta say that thing was awesome you couldn't see us laying down. I'm always naked in the backyard. I added 2,500 Sq Ft of pavers, outdoor kitchen, hot tub, built in fire pit and an outdoor shower... It's like a resort in our yard
In the house we lived in before we were on 2 1/2 acres. There were house on both sides of us but ours was set back farther on the property so the back deck was completely blocked from neighbors on the left and and semi blocked on the other side. Unless the owners are tending to their horses over there, we were pretty private.
We since have sold that house and moved to our vacation home in North Carolina. We have a nice back deck that gets a lot of sun in the afternoon. The people to the right of us are rarely ever there (their vacation home) and yesterday I was in my other neighbors yard and with the trees filling in their leaves , 2 big evergreens pretty well block the view to the deck. I could barely see it so I think we are pretty well covered plus I bought a screen that we can put along the deck railing totally blocking you when you are sitting or laying down.

Wifey teases hubby of us about having a brown body. But it's effort. It'd be nice to have the shorts to promote it.
How do we post images here? I can do it in the gallery and profile, but can't figure out how in the groups (other than group gallery).
"Do you have a link to the "tan through shorts"? I've been looking for something like that, but so far nothing I've found has been discreet enough."
I got a pair of Skinzwear A14 shorts in a patterned mesh that I'm quite happy with. I haven't worn them long enough to make any assessment on tan-through abilities. They can be seen through on close inspection but not from a short distance.
