Return to DiscussionsWith the pandemic and barber shopsand salons closed, I purchased a pair of electric clippers. At 67, I still have a full head of thick hair and have always worn it at a 5-6 inch length. But last March, I watched a couple of YouTube videos, then stood in front of the mirror and clipped it all off. Most people think I look great hairless. Personally, Im not sure. I been clipping myself bald now for a little over a year. It is cooler and easier to manage!
I dont always like the look either but I have been shaved bald for a long time now. Every time I try to grow my hair back for a look I end up not liking how it feels. Then I quickly shave it smooth again. Ive decided its more about how I feel and my comfort as opposed how it may look to others or even to myself in the mirror. I love the way it feels smooth even if its a chore to shave frequently. Keep it smooth!
