was about 20 when a friend mention about going to a nude beach I said yes, that's when I first heard anything about being a nudist and the lifestyle. When we arrived I looked around and probably said I'm home now
Thanks for sharing your introduction to nudism so many come to it through nude beaches. To bad there arent more of them. Was Gunnison/Sandy Hook the beach you went to?
hi! I'm jake/jacob and I'm originally from california, but currently living in the uk. I think the thought had been there for a while, but I first actually "tried" nudism when I was about 20. I had flown to milan for fashion week and as it turns out, my airbnb host was nudist, so I took that opportunity to try something new in a new city and it stuck!
still figuring out how to navigate the lifestyle in the uk as I found it simpler in california. I have friends who live pretty close to me who throw nude parties/barbecues on a weekly basis, which I think really helped and further subjected me to the lifestyle! not all too long ago, but been this way ever since : )
Thanks for taking time to share an intro Jake. Have you considered checking out a British Naturism event. From what I gather from my UK naturist friends that sponsor some good clothes free events.
I've been to an event! they're nice. a lot of them are just not too local to my area. not too caught up about age, but it'd be nice to have more events with people of my general age range; especially in this area, I understand that's a reach haha.
