Return to DiscussionsContinuing our #naturistblackhistory feature Learn about Judge Matt Bullock who was rejected by several East cost nudist clubs but went on to be a founding member of the Southern California Nudist Association here is what he said when asked why he thought more black people werent naturists I suspect that various traditional subterranean attitudes also discourage interracial nudism, including Black womens traditional vulnerability at the hands of White men, White mens traditional envy of the supposed virility of Black men, and Black mens and White womens shared sense of oppression by White men. Moreover~ not only has nudism not reached out to encourage participation by Black people, but it was not that long ago that Blacks were actually excluded, as my own experience indicates.
