Return to DiscussionsAny experience on smaller nude cruises? I think my wife would love to cruise nude with a smaller amount of passengers. I know our close friends would join us but neither they or my wife seem interested in the large cruise ship nude cruises.Thanks!
Wouldn't that be awesome since your in SoCal to take a small nude cruise to and around Hawaii?
hahaha ... if our destination were Hawaii ... we might even convince our close textile friends to join us! hahaha
The Hawaii cruise is on our list. The fact that we are at sea for several days during the cruise, appeals to Di and we'd definitely get a balcony stateroom so we could spend all our time out there nude. Our close friends have been on that cruise and loved it ... so much so that they are wanting to go again but we gotta make sure jour staterooms are not right next to each other!
We just vacationed with this couple and two other couples, also close friends, in Hawaii. We stayed in Waikiki and our hotel had a fairly private balcony ... so I thought. I was standing out there naked almost all the time and then realized that I could actually be seen from our friends balcony. Marked a spot on the balcony floor that denoted ... "no nudity beyond that point!" hahahaha
Small Nude Cruise??? We are planning on setting sail on a 47 ft chartered sail boat, with a husband & wife crew and we are having two friends join in as well. This will sail around the Bay Islands (Roatan and a number of nearby islands in the Caribbean off the coast of Honduras), where we will go where the wind blows, find nice diving spots, secluded beaches, little out of the way cantinas in some desolate cove and playing on, in and under the turquoise waters. Captain has sailed the world and is a dive master, while the Missus is a Yoga instructor and talented chef....what more could you want from a First Mate. Seems like we will have the pleasures of a down-sized cruise ship, without 4,000 close friends elbowing in to get ahead in the buffet line or claiming dining tables and pool chairs like squirrels hoarding nuts or stopping at a port of call to shop another straw market. Won't miss that!
While this private cruise will be as formal as we want (tux and gowns) or as casual (boobs and balls), the friends joining us not known to be regular nudists. I am sure that a day or two on the open water will free them up...how could it not? They have visited some of the same C/O-Nude friendly resorts as we have and they'll come around. This is my idea of a cruise, as opposed to the HUUUGE cruise ships. Hell, we are going to pretty much pack for this trip in our pocket.
Maybe next "cruse" after this one we will look for a boat that can can accommodate several more couples and make it a bit bigger party....but not too big. Well, we'll let you know how this 'down-sized cruise" goes....that is if we ever come back.
Well back from a great cruise experience and this is what we discovered. 9 day cruise is a couple days to long for us personally. It has nothing to do with the Cruise itself , boat, staff or fellow cruise mates what so ever. We are from a small rural town, no traffic to speak of, live in the country in a private setting and not accustomed to folks surrounding you or shoulder to shoulder at most times. It's so true we are small town people.
I thought about the smaller nude cruise thread on day 7 of the cruise. It really sounds appealing to this small town couple. Oh no doubt we will do another Big Nude Boat cruise but would have to think hard if it's more than 7 days long.
We ran into some couples we met and hit it off with on the 2015 cruise. One of those couples we plan on meeting up with at Turtle Lake a month or so from now. They were doing a back to back on the same boat or we would have gotten with them sooner. Two other couples we are talking about doing a destination vacation next winter. It looks like Club Orient so far.
Absolutely met some great people, had great times with our dear friends Fireman Bill and his wife . Best of all Mrs Rock and I got to experience other parts of the world together.
That's great Rock! I think those large ships and cruises are best done with friends. Though Di and I have done several cruises (all textile) and we had a great time being alone, for a large nude cruise, I think Di would have a better time if some of her friends were with her so they could do things together and the guys could do things together. We've never ventured off the ship separate and wouldn't do that but it would be fine to do some things separately on board.
