Return to DiscussionsI own an old wetbike (1978 I think) while I agree that its a blast, in answer to the question who doesnt (love them), any one looking for a quiet time on the beach, or in a kayak, canoe or sailboat, and quite frankly me, when Im not on mine! Mostly I object to the noise but sometimes the behavior, Ive had quite a few close encounters with them while swimming! A few bad apples......
Sailing a tall, cutter rigged 1976 Irwin 10/4 on Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence River/1000 Islandsmust have been chilly being nude that far north in October!
SOME October days can be very warm and nice (Sometimes sailing and tacking, we will cross the International Border between Ontario, Canada and New York State, USA one to two dozen times a day) Yes we are about as far north in NY as you can get - Border is about 2 miles from my dock
