Return to DiscussionsDoes anyone in this group watch the TV series Naked & Afraid? Do you think those contestants are actually nudist & enjoy been nude anyway? I always wondered if they ever have sex between production breaks.... I know they cuddle to stay warm sometimes. I'm also sure the guy gets an Erection while cuddling with the female counterparts. Tell me your take on the entire show & what you think.
I watch it occasionally, but I think they're all mostly exhibitionist and like showing off their endowments to others. They might be nudists, but I doubt it. I think it's all about the survivalist type lifestyle and being naked just adds to the viewership. If they actually show their penises, I'm betting very few of them have little wee-wees!!!
I can imagine the guys that are growers maybe hide or laugh it off with their partner notice they're bigger than a few minutes ago. Especially if you have a S/O at home & got accustomed to sex every night 4 years .. during 21 days . You're gonna look a each other 4 pleasure once the cameras go off . This show! First of all its called Naked & Afraid so dont go blurring out all the nudity. Second, dont allow the contestants to always cover themselves with their stupid little bag. If youre going to apply to a show like this then you should expect to be nude and for people to see you. The one exception Id make is to give those poor folks shoes.
As for cuddling for warmth and all that Ill blame fear and toxic masculinity. If its cold and thats the way we warm up then we are cuddling. End of story. Any rational person can separate the need to stay warm from wanting to stick their d*ick in something.
I want to be a fan of the show they just make it difficult.
From what I've seen of the show, there are people who have previously spent time naked in nature, and those for whom it is a new experience. In that regard, the only requirement seems to be that you are willing to leave your clothes behind. Some people make no effort to cover themselves, while others waste their first couple of days making something to cover up. Some survival skills seem to be the main requirement to get on the show, except for the abbreviated "fan" episodes. While the producers certainly had in mind that the nudity would boost viewership, it adds a significant additional element to the survival aspect, one that sets it apart from other survival shows and has made it quite successful. Because of the blurring and the very ordinary-looking people, I think that people who watch just because of the nudity probably get bored after a couple of episodes. I don't know for sure, but one difference that I've noticed over the years is that in early episodes, sunburn was always a factor. That issue seems to have disappeared, so I suspect they are issuing sunscreen. Bottom line I watch it on occasion because I find how people deal with the no-clothing issue in a survival situation interesting. If I were 40 years younger, I would try out. I already spend long days naked in trail-less Rocky Mountain wildernesses.
