Beach Nudists.

Tell the group what nude beach you go to, where the location is, how often do you go, and what you like and don't like about it. Or tell us whatever the hell is on your mind lol. I put this group together to find out what beaches around the world are fun to go to in case people are traveling and wondering what a particular beach is like.

I'm a 70yo cis male nudist in Dallas, TX. Texas has 3,359 miles of coastline, but it's 233 miles from Dallas at its closest point. There are two decent salt-water nude beaches in Texas, and you need a 4WD vehicle to get to either of them. Hippie Hollow is a legal nude "beach," and it's only a few hours away, but there's no salt or sand so it doesn't really satisfy. So when I'm jonesing for a beach and can't stand it anymore, I usually fly to Florida, where you can drive or walk up to several nude beaches.

I've never been to Zipolite, but I have a yen to try it. The difficulty is how to get there from Dallas without multiple stops and a 10-25 hour flight. The are a lot of flights to OAX, but few to HUX or PXM. Does anyone have any tips or suggestions about travel from DFW or somewhere nearby? I also welcome suggestions about good places to stay. My first choice would be Hotel Nude, but it's full for the dates I have in mind.

Thanxabunch,

Glampa

RE:Zipolite... and HI!

Hey, just saw your post. Look for flights to Huatulco or Puerto Escondido. There are a couple of regional Mexican airlines, low cost as well, but you'll probably fly through Mexico City. Don't go late Spring or summer. Super hot and humid. An overnight or 2 in these cities is well worth it. Recover from traveling so long to get there.

Anyway, from the major cities you can catch a bus to Pochutla (super cheap). There's no gas station at the coast so lots of taxi drivers make the trip there to gas up. Getting together with other people you can share a taxi to Zipo or Mazunte. There is a bus from Puerto Escondido that stops in San Antonio on the way to Pochutla, get off there, catch a taxi or a local (death) bus headed for Mazunte, Zipo. This is adventure! You'll be so glad you did. Don't worry about finding a place to stay, you will, as long as you don't go during the big beach fest they have. Have a fish burger at Limn y Sal on the beach, it's Monster good!
