I went to Black's Beach last week. I was on vacation in Escondido, so I was able to go to Black's Beach several times. So far, it is my favorite nude beach. I do a lot of running each week. I was able to get in a lot of nude miles in on the beach. I also went in the water. The water was a little cold, but it was an awesome experience to be naked in the waves. There wasn't a whole lot of people on the beach. I would recommend gong to the north end of Black's Beach. It is more secluded and there are not as many people. The trail from Torrey Pines State Reserve is well- maintained and takes you down near the north end of Black's Beach. It costs $20 to get into the State Reserve. Personally, I think it is worth the money. It is free if you park near the glider port at the south end of the beach. But the trail from the glider port down to the beach isn't maintained as well. Overall, it is a very scenic beach. It is pretty secluded because there are sheer cliffs close to the beach. I only saw a handful of other nudists each time I went. It is probably more popular when the weather is a little warmer.
