I put this group together to find out what beaches around the world are fun to go to in case people are traveling and wondering what a particular beach is like.

San Onofre walk
Return to DiscussionsSo today I stopped off at San Onofre since there was a huge accident on the south bound 5. I stripped as soon as I passed the fence and talked to everyone I made eye contact with. Talked to a guy from Spain who had a wonderful tan. He was also completely hairless. Anyways after my nice long walk I was heading back. I am still nude and say this man and woman walking toward me who were fully dressed. I walk right toward them still holding my shorts in my hand and wearing only my flip flops and sunglasses. The woman who was also wearing sunglasses looked straight at me the whole time smiling. I said hello how are you and the man replied doing wonderful. They continued to walk and I did too. The woman looked back a couple of times and I just smiled at her since I was looking back too to see if they were going to get nude. No luck in them stripping down but I felt so relaxed being nude in front of them. I hope to get back into my routine of going there since I love that beach.

Love to have some first hand knowledge of the situation down at San Onofre. It was our go to beach and we'd love to return but haven't heard any updated info on conditions down there.

San Onofre is still illegal to be nude on the state beach side but south of the fence you are on Camp Pendleton and the MP almost never go there. I have heard of them showing up but they just tell people to go north of the fence. Unless you are having sex or something they leave you alone and just tell you to move. I have yet to see a MP on the beach. The Marines leave you alone and the rangers dont go south of the fence.

On your recent visit, did you notice an increase in clothed (bathing suit) wearing visitors to the once nude section of San O? How 'bout the numbers south of the fence line? When we visited frequently, before the citations began being handed out, south of the fence line was where all the players went to have sex, watch sex and most of the gays would head that way. What's the vibe like now?

There was no one north of the fence (state beach side). Up by the life guard tower yes but not where the nude section used to be. From my experience is the closer to the fence the less hassle women get. Yes you get the guy that was to get a look but no one seems to bother couples there. If you make the walk further south you will see the guys hooking up with each other. I have seen couples have sex in the open there too. For the most part I set up close to the fence when I go there to surf. Other times I just go for the long walk. I have talked to people up and down the beach. The vibe is kick back. I dont talk to guys that sit there looking at me grabbing or playing with themselves. They obviously want something I am not into.
