Beach Nudists.
Tell the group what nude beach you go to, where the location is, how often do you go, and what you like and don't like about it. Or tell us whatever the hell is on your mind lol. I put this group together to find out what beaches around the world are fun to go to in case people are traveling and wondering what a particular beach is like.

Return to DiscussionsWhile there are no "legal" nude beaches where I live, we nudists can find a small patch of paradise and tan nude. We have to keep watch if on the main beach, but there are some out of the way places to tan without much trouble. Anyway, while tanning at a secluded section last week, a textile strolls by. He could see me from quite a distance, so by walking by me, he seemed to be curious. He didn't say anything for some time, just meandered around watching and looking at me. I was on my stomach and needed to turn over, so I did. It was then I saw him come closer and he began a conversation. We chatted a bit, I laid back on my back and he stayed for a few minutes, then left. Yesterday, I was tanning at another very secluded beach when 3 men walked up and were pulling a fishing cart. They didn't even acknowledge I was there and I just kept tanning til I was finished...that was a refreshing experience. What experiences with textiles while naked have any of you had?
You are absolutely right Andy. I never thought to try that approach when I had to deal with textiles at Blacks. Perhaps we should tell all the members at the Bares to try your approach.... we could start a revolution!

Our only experience with textiles on a nude beach is at Orient Beach. Usually it is cruise ship visitors in for the day, and usually there will be a steady stream of them who will walk to the end of the beach and turn around all the while trying to look like they aren't looking at everyone. We've sat near others who will get up and say "hi, how's your cruise going?" on their return trip down the nude end of the beach. I've never done that but have talked to clothed tourists at the beach bar while waiting in line to get drinks. Of all the bars up and down Orient Beach, they and their cab driver picked the one at the nude end (The Perch) so their driver must have explained that this particular bar was in the nude zone. We went in June this year, but have heard that around the Fourth of July there is an organized group that holds nude beachball races and hands out Mardi Gras beads with the sole purpose of trying to talk cruise ship passengers into trying out going nude for the day.
Once in a while we will see one or two couples with a cruise ship bag come over and rent loungers and actually get nude with the rest of us but that is fairly rare. Of course, if we ever take another cruise that stops in St. Martin we will probably head down to Orient and join in for the day (maybe even win some Mardi Gras beads!) We purposely did not go to Orient on this year's nude cruise since we (correctly) assumed the nude section would be absolutely packed with six ships in port, one of which was filled with 2200 nudists.

Easy CherBear, easy... We all love the clothing free lifestyle, and want to support it, but not everyone can go to an organized event that comes up. Maybe their grandkid had a birthday party or something. The State of California is the enemy, not fellow nudists.

PS: If I still lived in California, I would have been there and I would have dragged my Glen Eden buddies with me, assuming of course, that I did not have something already planned that could not be rescheduled.

The 2013 cruise was on an even bigger ship that held 3000 passengers. The rumor was that Bare Necessities had some trouble filling the ship, so they had to go outside of the normal nudist publications to advertise the cruise. It did seem like there were more clothed people on that cruise than this year, but it might have been that we were new to nudism and so we were looking for cues when we should be nude and noticed the clothes. This year we were ready to just treat the ship like a floating nudist resort and if others wanted to stay clothed, that was their problem. The 2017 cruise is again on a 2200 passenger ship and is being billed as their most clothes-free sailing ever... I don't know how we can be more clothes-free than we were this year, unless they start letting us go nude in the main dining room.
We love cruising and we love going to nude resorts, so put the two together and it was a big party! Hopefully we will meet several TN-ers like we did on the first two cruises we took when we go again in 2017.
Sportsdude, you can get gawked at on a legal CO beach or a non-legal one. I guess the issue is you are protected against criticism and any action on a legal CO beach to state the obvious.
I go regularly to a non legal CO beach as it's close and I pass there often with my work. Some locals go there and others like me or holiday makers this time of year. I'm often cautious with textiles walking by and will remain lying on my front.
At legal CO beaches I walk for miles and don't care.
